Ship-based Radiometers


Ship-based radiometers (seen here attached to a deck rail) will collect hyperspectral data on ocean color. The hyperspectral measurements will be similar to those that will be collected during the PACE mission.

[13-Aug-18] Ship-based data are collected on expeditions such as EXPORTS to help validate remote measurements. For EXPORTS, ship-based radiometers (seen here attached to a deck rail) will collect hyperspectral data on ocean color. These measurements will be similar to those that will be collected during the PACE mission.
