Modified Coastlines in the Persian Gulf
Sunglint, sky glint, and shallow-water bottom reflections (plus some atmospheric aerosols and phytoplankton cells) affected what Landsat 9 saw on July 24, 2022 while its radiometers were pointed at the Persian Gulf.

Meanwhile, the heavily modified east and north coasts of Qatar, coast of Saudi Arabia, and southern tip of Bahrain lent a certain steampunk aesthetic to the region.
