Here’s your chance to meet the PACE team!
NASA’s Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem (PACE) mission will extend and improve NASA’s 20-plus-year record of satellite observations of global ocean biology, clouds and even tiny particles suspended in the atmosphere. It is scheduled to launch on February 6, 2024.
The mission team will be on the bottom floor of Space Shuttle Atlantis from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Friday, February 2, and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, February 3. Peer through microscopes, witness a light experiment, learn about the mission and more.
The event is included with Kennedy Under the Stars on Friday, and with admission on Saturday.
