New PACE *Terrestrial* Data Users’ Group: Join Us!

April 15, 2025
Virtual

We are excited to announce the formation of the PACE Land data Users' Group (PLUG)! We have found a growing group of data users enthusiastic about the unique terrestrial products only available from PACE, but less familiar with the observatory and how to obtain/utilize the data. In response, we’ve created PLUG as a forum for interfacing with, growing, and informing the PACE terrestrial data product user community.

REGISTER HERE to join our first meeting (virtual event):
Tuesday April 15th, 2pm-3pm (Eastern US, UTC-4:00). Agenda below.

Why this Users' Group?

NASA's PACE observatory, launched just over 1 year ago, provides novel, freely available hyperspectral and polarimetric data products with exciting potential to serve the terrestrial remote sensing community in new ways. PLUG will help users access the data, share best practices, and build connections with the overarching goal of helping you apply PACE land data to your science and applications goals. Content will be user-driven, based on your feedback.

Who can participate?

Any remote sensing data users that are interested in, or already are, utilizing PACE terrestrial data products for their science and applications needs. Please feel free to share this announcement with your network.

What to expect?

Our PACE Land data Users' Group will convene approximately quarterly, virtual meetings. First meeting agenda below.
