[23-Aug-18] EXPORTS researchers delicately bring a Neutrally-Buoyant Sediment Trap (NBST) onto the deck of the R/V Roger Revelle. The NBSTs collected falling marine snow (organic matter and particles). Examining the contents of the NBSTs may increase our understanding of the ocean Twilight Zone and the fate of carbon in the water column.
