[23-Aug-18] EXPORTS researchers bring a Neutrally-Buoyant Sediment Trap (NBST) onto the deck of the R/V Roger Revelle. NBSTs collect falling marine snow (organic matter and other particles). Examining the contents of the NBSTs may increase our understanding of the ocean Twilight Zone and the fate of carbon in the water column.
