[31-May-24] Springtime in the Sea of Okhotsk is a riot of colors, attesting to its high primary productivity. Located east of Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula, this region is rich in biological resources including fish, shellfish, and crabs. In some places, the Sea of Okhotsk has warmed much faster than the global average, inhibiting the formation of sea ice and driving fish populations north.
