[09-May-24] Bright teal rings mark the locations of coral reef islands off the northern coast of Western Australia. Brown colors along Australia's shoreline indicate the presence of turbid, sediment-laden waters. Nutrients from these sediments may fuel high primary production further offshore. This image was taken by the Ocean Color Instrument (OCI) sensor aboard the PACE satellite on May 9, 2024.
