The PACE mission continues to roll out novel data products that are advancing Earth System science and applications. This was the first of two consecutive Community Telecons spotlighting several new polarimetry products that have recently become available from PACE. During our Summer 2025 Telecon, guest speaker Kirk Knobelspiesse (NASA GSFC) presented an overview of the PACE polarimeters, current and newly available polarimetry products, and what products and applications potential are ahead. Then guest speaker Meng Gao (NASA GSFC/SSAI) presented on the FastMAPOL data suite, a set of products derived from an efficient multi-angle polarimetric algorithm for simultaneous aerosol and ocean color retrievals powered by deep learning. He discussed the newly available FastMAPOL aerosol and ocean color products from the HARP2 and SPEXone polarimeters, including an overview of the FastMAPOL algorithm and applications of data products. He ended with a Jupyter Notebook-based demonstration on how to access and use the data. Access event materials below. The second telecon on PACE polarimetry will be in October.
