Posted on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 06:30:00

What if Earth science looked like an old school adventure poster? NASA’s PACE mission has reimagined its groundbreaking work through a set of vintage inspired travel designs that turn data into art. With bold colors and imaginative scenes, these posters offer a fresh way to experience the beauty of our planet from above.

If you love retro travel art and space science, PACE has something special for you. The team has created a set of vintage inspired travel posters that celebrate what the satellite sees from orbit, from light bouncing through clouds to the vibrant colors of our land and ocean. These posters look like classic tourism ads, but each one highlights real PACE science in a fun and inviting way.

Poster 3 – Surf the Plumes

Surf the Plumes poster
You can explore the spirit of PACE science as a full-color adventure. This poster invites viewers to ride along with the microscopic particles that drift across our sky. These aerosols may be tiny, but they shape everything from brilliant sunsets to shifting weather systems. Download PDF: [S] [M] [L]

Poster 4 – Dive into the Rainbow

Dive into the Rainbow Poster
You can celebrate the way PACE observes our ocean's vibrant ecosystems and the phytoplankton that power them. Phytoplankton may be microscopic, but they produce half of the oxygen we breathe and play a major role in regulating climate. Download PDF: [S] [M] [L]

Posters were designed by PACE team members Sara Blumberg and Carina Poulin who would like to acknowledge the inspiration from the Exoplanets Travel Bureau Posters
